Writing is my life. I have spent many years honing my craft, both as a writing instructor at the University of Pennsylvania and columnist at The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Now I use those skills as a private writing tutor, working primarily with high-school juniors and seniors as well as college students and adults. I help them navigate the rigors of effective writing, teaching skills they can use for the rest of their lives.
Clear, well-reasoned writing requires practice and discipline. It extends across all genres, whether college applications, research papers, essays or any kind of professional writing.
I’ve even helped a rabbi improve his sermons. His congregation noticed.
Guiding students in pursuit of excellence has been the most rewarding experience of my professional life.
