I earned my undergraduate degree in English from Brandeis University and my Masters degree in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
After 25 years as TV Columnist at The Philadelphia Inquirer, I joined the full-time faculty at the University of Pennsylvania’s Critical Writing Program. During my 11 years there, I discovered my passion for teaching and tutoring.
Fun Facts: I am a fanatic for movies. (I am on a first-name basis with everyone at The Bryn Mawr Film Institute). I read voraciously, especially biographies. I am the parent of one daughter and one high-maintenance cat.
